Join CaringEdge Hospice in Bismarck, North Dakota and make a meaningful impact at the most important time in a person’s life. We’re seeking a full-time Chaplain to provide compassionate spiritual and emotional care to patients and families navigating the end-of-life journey.
In this role, you will work one-on-one with individuals from diverse backgrounds, respecting and honoring all beliefs and cultural perspectives. You’ll provide comfort and understanding during life’s most profound moments while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team. This position is ideal for someone who values dignity, purpose, and deep human connection.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide spiritual and emotional care based on the needs and preferences of patients and their families
- Offer compassionate support that respects spiritual, non-spiritual, and cultural differences
- Create and implement individualized spiritual care plans
- Participate in regularly scheduled interdisciplinary team meetings
- Foster peace and comfort during the transition at end-of-life
What you will need:
- Master of Divinity required
- CPR certification (provided if needed)
- Compassionate presence and positive attitude
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to travel locally as needed
