The CaringEdge is a group of health care professionals with extensive experience.

Caring Edge was founded by Janet Wise, RN MSN who serves as its president. She is a career professional with over 15 years experience in the healthcare system. She has held a variety of positions in the field ranging from psychiatric nursing, to orthopedic, to medical/surgical, to post-op and recovery, as well as cardiac care. In addition, she has served as university professor and hospital administrator.

She maintains a current RN license (CA) and holds a Masters Degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University. She is also certified from the California Board of Education as a college educator and is an active member in the National Patient Advocate Foundation as well as The National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants. Throughout her many years of experience, she has witnessed profound changes in healthcare practices, delivery systems, and medical technology and has personally confronted the challenges each one has posed. During that time, Janet has also developed an extensive network of distinguished medical practitioners, researchers, medical facilities and caregivers.
She was featured in Good Housekeeping Magazine’s August 2008 issue which profiled women who have made noteworthy individual career choices.
